UNICA's Amicus Curiae - LCFS case

In recently filed court papers, the Brazilian Sugarcane Industry Association (UNICA) defended State of California’s right to implement regulations that lower the carbon footprint of the state’s transportation fuels. UNICA, the leading trade association for the Brazilian ethanol industry, filed a Amicus Curiae (Friend of the Court) brief rebutting arguments by brought by petroleum and corn ethanol groups challenging the State of California’s Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS).
